What We Are Growing

Celosia Flowers
Known for brightly coloured, silky flower heads. They thrive in full sun and are drought tolerant, attracting butterflies to the garden.

Orange mARIGOLDS
Known for it's compact growth and vibrant, bicoloured blooms. These flowers are edible and are known to attract beneficial insects to the garden.

Dianthus
Available in various shades of pink, red, white, and purple, often with detailed patterns on the petals. Does well in full sun and well-drained soil.

Tumeric
A tropical perennial plant in the ginger family. The plant thrives in rich, well-drained soil with plenty of sun and water. We were lucky that this was already in our bed.

Lettuce
We have transferred our oak leaf lettuce from the greenhouse to our garden bed. The children got to see the process of it growing so quickly with worm juice.

strawberries
We have transferred our strawberries from the greenhouse to the garden bed and are patiently waiting for the first fruits to harvest.

Coriander
Transferred from the greenhouse to the garden and is surprisingly doing very well! A few courageous children have tasted it with mixed reviews!

Tomatoes
Prolific, easy to grow, thriving in full sun. You'll be lucky to see a red one before Aria pops them in her mouth. These are slowly growing through the heat.

Papaya Tree
Generously left from previous owners of garden bed. We can't wait for the first fruit to be ready to taste!
