Projects

The Garden Bed Project is an ongoing, child-led investigation exploring gardening, community, and caring for living things. Through hands-on experiences at the Southern Beaches Community Garden, children are learning where food comes from, what plants need to grow, and how we can work together to care for shared spaces.

This project continues to evolve as children observe, question, and contribute their ideas over time.

A child-led investigation into frogs, habitats, water, and caring for living things, inspired by children’s curiosity about frogs found in our local environment.

Using watercolours, the children carefully stained white shirts with bright, colourful patterns of their own choosing. Some children experimented with brush strokes and lines, while others enjoyed watching the way the watercolour paint spread and blended across the fabric.
